Special Tuning (UK) Limited is a newly formed operation, headed by John Boardman as Managing Director.

When Peugeot Sport's sale of its Coventry operation was first mooted, John felt that there was an opportunity to ensure that Peugeot's loyal customer base had continuity, both in terms of parts supply and competition.

"When we learnt that Peugeot Sport was being sold like many we saw the end of a long and successful outfit, both on stage and race circuit, and wanted to be part of its continued existence." said John. "We want to provide a component service to the loyal Peugeot Sport customer base, both race and rally, and continue the traditions of encouraging new and existing competitors through the 206 Super Cup, Winter Cup and the now revitalised 1400 Challenge. Additionally we are now able to offer a complete service, from car preparation through to arrive and drive hire right through the Peugeot range on and up to the Super 1600 cars."
